[Preview Post] Letting Go

Whenever I go through a painful experience, my best
remedy is doing a shotophoot. This one did me wonders.
I have always followed the motto of "turn your pain into
poetry" and my poetry is photography.

"Letting go is such a personal, powerful & freeing sensation.
So today I'm letting go of you..."

(Revealing) Natural Beauty

This was a kind of shoot where I had no direction at first.
The decision to do this shoot came last minutes because I couldn't
make up my mind what I wanted the theme to be to the shoot. Scroll, click
like, and I came upon the photo my friend shared on his fb page.

I loved how the face paint I used gave a completely different texture
on my face compared to the powder used on the model, giving my interpretation
of the photo an even more unique twist.

Here is '(Revealing) Natural Beauty...

[Preview Post] (Revealing) Natural Beauty

This photo is what inspired my next #shotophoot (which will
be up tonight). I found this shoot to be very rewarding as the actually
process of revealing the natural beauty beneath made me sit back
and appreciate my natural beauty.

Blood Hound [He Is Thirsty]

Here is the full shoot for Blood Hound.
This GlamaZombie is pure trouble! Be on
the look out!

A side note: This is my first shoot where I had to
use Photoshop for more than adjusting lighting.
I try for my shotophoots to be as organic as possible
to give a true representation of who I am.

[Preview Post] Blood Hound... He Is Thristy...

This may only be the beginning of the end.
In a post apocalyptic war zone, a GlamaZombie has
been set loose. Be afraid, for the Blood Hound has been
awakened from his sleep, and he is thirsty...

Slayin' Bitches

A friend of mine shared a link to a shoot
and when I saw it I instantly fell in love with
what I saw, as well as feeling a bit envious
that someone got it right.

I did something similar to this in terms of gradient
make up, Diamonds, but I was not entirely happy with what I saw,
and what ended up being posted on the blog did not feature
any of the make up intended for the shoot.

So with my contouring skills blossoming, I gave it another shot,
this time creating my own version. And I was so much happier
with what came about.

So essentially, I slayed this bitch...

[Preview Post] Reading Is Fundamental!

Had fun with this shoot, but more so for the prep work.
I have been seriously studying the art of contouring (specifically
that of sculpting a masculine face into a feminine face) and I've really been
loving the results.

Here is R.I.F! ;D
Also, this shoot is brought to you by M.A.C's Pro Sculpting Cream
in Naturally Defined.

[Mini Post] Flower Power! POW!

This was a mini shoot of sorts, didn't have enough time to
take many shots, had problem with the camera's battery (silly
me left the camera on and the battery ran down).

This shoot should also not be confused for previous
shoot of mine, Flour Power, which has no relations with each
other, apart from both being absolutely fabulous & fierce.

Here's flower power ;D

Unconventional Contouring

As I mentioned in my preview post, I wanted
to convey a sense of humour attached to professionalism.
I am not near as professional in terms of accomplishments, but
when you become confident in your work, you realise you
can have fun with what you do, without faltering in your level
of commitment towards your art.

Many different artists exist, and they all choose to portray their
creations differently. I have always been quirky in my sense of self,
and I portray that in my work as as I can.

I give you Unconventional Contouring...
