Warrior Part II, But Still The Fighter Remains...

This is the second part of the shoot, which was shot first.
To be honest, I forgot to glue on the lashes and just started snapping
away, and I feel it is still strong enough to stand on its own.
But still the fighter remains...

[In retrospect] Colours

22 January 2009.
Turned 21 a month back. We had made renovations to our home in August
the year before and I had tried to stall my father as much as
possible from finishing their bathroom wall because of the
visual background effect it gave.

[Mini Post] Victor/Victoria

This was a 'trial & error' kind of shoot. Too many factors
played a role which I had no control over so I didn't really know
where it would lead to, but I wanted to try anyway.

I saw a video recently on youtube of Beyonce & Jay Z's 'Halo/Forever
Young' performance on their 'On The Run' tour. The flow of Bey's dress/
ensemble made me want to do the same, although the space was limited for me.

This was the effect. I worked until 3am to sow together all the materials, hehe.
I am not sad I tried.

This ofcourse was also my opportunity to show off my thigh tattoo ;D

Perfumes: Thierry Mugler - Womanity

Was exceptionally psyched for this shoot, had
alot of fun prepping for it, and enjoying the fruits afterwards
as well. I have had Mugler's Womanity for some while now,
but this was the first opportunity I got to get fresh figs.

I consider Womanity one of my staple fragrances. I believe
in it, and it wears well on me. Do not be fooled by the name, this
is as universal as they come; truly enigmatic in its character as it
is unique.

For more information on the scent itself go on over to Fragrantica or

Geek Chic

This shoot took an unexpected turn, and would of
been another theme all together had it not been for my
cousin Cindy, who bought these retro sunglasses for me,
and the theme Geek Chic was born.

Then, in mid shoot, I realised/decided to add some intellectual
reading into the shoot and thought of using one of my mom's
books in psychology. Standing in front of her book shelf though, instead,
my eye caught two books in particular, both theses, both by two
phenomenal women in my life. One by my mother, Cecilia
and the other by my oldest cousin Brigitte.

This shoot is a dedication to these three phenomenal women.
I give you Geek Chic.

Paradise Part I, Thunderstorm

Had internet problems all week long, so this shoot comes
to you a little bit late, but here it is, a 2-part installment shoot
that features a little something different for me ;D

Here is Part I, thunderstorm...
