Creator's Block - to be with you...

Been struggling with these for a while... Either the photo ain't right, or
I can't get the wording to fit with the theme... It's funny, usually when I do
album covers/single covers, it's instant, like "snap" and I'm good to go...

These are artworks I've been working on yesterday...
The magazine covers I made in 10 minutes quick, and the adverts were coming on
for a bit now, and I only found creative outburst for it yesterday.

Artwork

Artwork has always been a passion of mine, and I've always incorporated my photography
into my artwork, and the other way around. Most of my artwork depicts my photography in
any case. I have decided to post some of my artwork I have done over the years that are worth
posting, seeing as photography, for me, cannot function without art, and art cannot be done without
photography...

my new obsession

so i bought this cute hat at a flee market type of stall for just 50bucks. Who needs

labels and brands when at 50bucks it still does it purpose and looks good eitherway?
Did a photoshoot with it, just to test whether i like it or not, whether the look suits
me... And i must say, I pretty much love what i see!

the Macro, Close Up & Close Competition on facebook with the theme of ropes...

I won 1st & 2nd place for my two photos!!!!
I am so extremely excited! This has given me so much more confidence in my
work, and knowing that I have family and friends backing me, I know
I will surpass my wildest dreams one day!

Inspiration/ Photos I'd Love To Do One Day...

These are photos i find inspiration in at the moment, these are
all photos that fascinate me.
I have tried to recreate the famous Frédéric Koenig photograph [2nd photo], but
I do not have the means and the props for such a lavish and
intricate photograph...


Hoodies has always fascinated me. I've done photos with hoodies in the past,
that came out nicely, but that was years back, when i got my first camera, taken in my
room. Not very photographic in the least.



One day, I'll be good enough to re-represent/ recreate these photos into something I can
call my own...

Sticking like glue...?

Is it wrong of a photographer to experience a new 'form' of photography,
or discover a certain theme and stickin to it for a bit too long?

I've discovered, so to say, the theme that follows in Creative Combustion...
Somehow I've hit a block.. you can only do so many poses with your arm in
the air.

Basically, I need techniques. Techniques i know would acquire me to do work-
shops. Workshops that I don't have the money for right now.

Practise makes perfection, I suppose?...

I have decided againsn't putting up the most risky photos, for now.
Mostly because I've never ventured there before and I have
no idea how it would be received, since I was the photographer and the model.

But these photos are of the ones not so risky. So these will be up on the blog.
