Bow Tie-ty

This is one of my most trusted props, in photography &

in real life, as I love drawing attention to myself in unexpected

ways, like big ass bow ties for example. I own two that I have

created myself, both could be seen on previous posts through out

the blog.

Although I do not know as much about Buddhism as

I should, I have always been fascinated by the Buddha

statues, although I do not follow the religion or it's beliefs.

Missouri [Previously unreleased]

As I was going through my posts in the last year, 

I realised this specific shoot never got published on the

blog, and although I immediately asked myself 'why not',

I can think of a few reasons why it never saw the pages

of the blog until now. 

One of the main reasons would probably be that at the

time, this shoot was done between 'Michael Bolton' & 

'... Just Be A Queen', and I felt too much of this shoot

would be visually similar to Michael Bolton, although 

setting the 3 shoots next to each other now, they compliment

each other quite positively. 

So with that, here is Missouri, in all it's glory. 

 

[Preview Shoot] Diamonds

This shoot was inspired by loss. A colleague of mine's

sister lost a child in this week to cancer. I was never close

to the kid or her mother, but I felt the pain my colleague

carries to this day. RIP kiddo. You're safely Upstairs now

My little Bohemia: my happiness jar

This is my happiness jar. It is filled with many things, 

quotes, memories, all related to being happy, 

or things that make me happy. This is directly

inspired from the idea Elizabeth Gilbert, writer of 'Eat Pray Love', 

brought forth. 

Perhaps it green on both sides?

This is one of those fragrances that catches

you by surprise. Looking at the fragrance

notes, I wasn't impressed, but going on

reviews, I decided to buy it anyway.

Onions! Onions? yes, well, half an onion?

Hehe, when an onion is freshly cut, all it's good for, 

except for when in food, is to make you cry. But give it

a few days to 'mature' and voila! a simple yet

effective piece for photography ;D

Full post - Glitter bomb

This shoot was inspired by Season 3's winner of

RuPaul's Drag Race, Raja's look at the season's reunited

episode. This is my interpretation:

OMG! [another note to say thanx hehe]

I never expected to turn out this big. From 53 views

to 106! this is absolutely mind blowing. WOW thank

you so much. This totally made my day! I have one more

post to make for tonight, but this... this just gave

me a big boost to snap some more.

A Big, warm thank you!

I have always told myself how awesome it

would be if I got to the point where I reached 50 views or

more, and logging in today, I was so pleasantly surprised.

Thank you to each and every reader on here. This is 

perhaps not the biggest milestone, but this is a personal

triumph for me in my little blog journey hehe.

Perfumes: Paco Rabanne - Black XS Pour Elle

This is the female version of Black XS, 

which compliments the male version very well,

although it can stand quite well on its own. 

This was a influenced by for me, purely based

on the fact that the male version smelt so damn good,

I figured, the female version should be pretty awesome

Perfumes: Antonio Banderas - The Golden Secret

This is the little brother of Antonio's previous fragrance,

The Secret (not photographed yet). Many has panned

it as a One Million copy, but I like it more, it is more subdued, 

and I seem to like fragrances who surprises you with 

it's presence, instead of ones that are loud and in your face.

We Are A Shining...

I have tried this idea twice before and felt I haven't 

concieved what I visualised. This time around though,

I loved what I saw. Again, I've found that in shoots where

I do not plan too much ahead, I am happier with the outcome

of the shoot, more spontaneity, whereas with planning you

have a preconceived expectation that you probably would

never meet.
