(Darling) Hold My Hand

Been listening to Jess Glynne a lot lately

and when Hold My Hand came up on my playlist,

I knew I had to go in that direction ;D

Been exceptionally inspired to create a nature

shoot, and spent the whole morning prepping for this shoot 

[something unusual as I like my shoots to be spontaneous, but

I realise that with certain things in life, preparation is key ;D]

I do not want to give away too much about what the shoot represents

and want to leave that open for translation for now...

Designers Fashion Show Season 6, Windhoek

Attended my first fashion show; the exposure I got as an 

aspiring designer was tremendous! Some designers was good,

some wasn't so polished but overall the show went really

well. These are press photos taken during and after the

show. 

I'm the shortest among all of them! lol. The cape I wore

was made by myself, and my friend Uaaka made his own

blazer. We were pretty stoked about our look! Giggles.

Step It Up

I woke up the day feeling exceptionally sexy and excited to 

start the day. Got dressed up for class and everything.

When I got home I decided I could never let the opportunity

slip away and prepared for a shoot.

The make up and nails is partially because I needed to 'test drive' a look

I was going to do for the end of year fashion showcase, and although 

the makeup isnt exactly as dark as I want it for the showcase, 

the idea behind it is all the same. 

The only thing that represents the showcase in these photos are the shoes

and the rest of the look was all just part of how I felt that day. I will do a 

shoot with my end of year garment when that is finished, as well as our 

recycled project, which is coming up soon. Keep a look out of that as well ;D

Yearning

Been inspired by a quote of myself lately and wanted

to translate that into a shoot (I believe there are many ways as well).

"I connect with the dark, but live as much as I can in the light."

This is yearning, and this is the optimistic representation of that quote:

Hounds tooth is gonna be big in 2015 I am telling you! ;D

Spotted this shirt and needed to have it immediately. Already

ideas was running through my mind as to how I can incorporate

this into a photoshoot. I felt almost as if I was preparing for a magazine

shoot, with all the possible pieces laid out on the bed hehe. 

That being said, this shoot was initially called Gentleman, as that

is what I wanted to portray in the shoot, but settled with Suave as it is

defined as charming, elegant, poised and confident.
