[InRetrospect] Ray Of Lights [Fairy Allsorts - The Complete Post]

This is the complete shoot from the artwork

I did for Fairy Allsorts. And to be honest, 

I am not sure why it never got posted? 

But all good things come to those wait, hehe

& so I give you, Ray Of Lights...

Dark Side

I tried something different this time. With all my previous

shoots, I came up with the theme for the shoot first, and

figured out a name fitting for the shoot as I went along, or

afterwards as I edit my photos. This time around though, 

I tried the opposite. Instead I already came up with a name

and tried to create the theme accordingly. 

I cannot say I succeeded in this method; I would certainly

need more practice (it is a lot more difficult then you'd think hehe)

but I did good on the shoot itself.

Night Sky

I was quite proud of how far I have come with doing my 

own make up, especially since I could never master

symmetry before. I am getting better at it by the day, 

and I am especially proud of this feat due to the fact that

I do not have any formal training, and have only gone

on tips & advice a qualified friend in make up have given me.

I give you Frosted Green, which is part of & a

continuation of "Caution! Contents Are On Fire!"

Caution! Contents Are On Fire!

I had been tempted by using caution tape for a shoot

for a very long time, and I finally got my hands on some. 

As with all experiments, the firsts ones are always a bit

testy, and doesn't seem finished. This is the first for me,

but it certainly wont be the last time you'd see me all taped

up ;D

This retrospect is a little more recent than most

retrospect posts, as this was in Novemeber 2012.

This photoshoot can be considered a dare/threat

on my creative being. At that time I followed a guy

on twitter who did his own shoots as well, and I have

to say, I had the case of the greenies. 

I honestly cannot say what brought out the 

competitor in me, but I have to say, I'm glad it

happened. I considered this shoot risky back then, 

but I feel it's time it needs to come out of hiding.

I give you the full shoot of "Is Seksy Borat". 

Had fun with this, mostly because I did 'stache 

shoots in previous years, and this is about the

closest to a real 'stache I would ever come! hehe
