[In Retrospect] Artwork Project 'Fever Album' Part I

This is the artwork project I mentioned in my previous
post that I worked on in 2010. You will of course find
some of the work I did HERE, but I also
created what would of become a Digital Booklet for
the project as well. I wanted a complete package of
the project. This is what I will be posting, as well
as the full album covers, deluxe edition & single covers.

Let's start off with the covers ;D

01. 'Fever' Album Front & Back Covers

02. 'Fever [Disco Deluxe Edition]' Front & Back Covers

03. 1st Single 'In Your Eyes' Front & Back Covers

04. 2nd Single 'Free' Front & Back Covers

05. 4th Single 'Happy' Front & Back Covers

In the next post, I will share the pages that make up the digital
booklet for the project.

[In Retrospect] Something To Remember

I remember I did a few photoshoots at that time
specifically for an artwork album cover project
I wanted to create for my art portfolio. If my
memory serves me correct, the album & all it's
art created has not been posted in full. I should post that
as well ;D

Here is 'Something To Remember', shot in November 2010.

[In Retrospect] The Spirit Of Feeling Sexy

This is the second post as part of my showcase
[In Retrospect], called The Spirit Of Feeling Sexy,
and was shot in November 2010.
At the time I felt very uninspired about my weight and
I think that can be seen in the shoot as well.

[In Retrospect] Creation

This is the first post as part of posting
from my earlier work. This is called Creation,
and was shot in July 2010.

A thought...

I started this blog in 2009 with the aim of broadening my
photography skills both as a photographer (capturing the
environment and people and nature around me) as well as
the subject infront of the camera.

I've posted many of what I've captured, but only from 2009 onwards,
and even then, only a select few made it to the blog. I've
been considering the idea of posting my previous work
as well, that spans as far back as 2007 I believe.

This will in turn perhaps also showcase my evolution as
a model, an evolution of my style of photography as well
as the boundaries & limits I have pushed in the process...

Watch this space. ;D

Photography: Nature - Aster

A short introduction of the flower taken from Wikipedia

Aster (syn. Diplopappus Cass.) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. The genus once contained nearly 600 species in Eurasia and North America, but after morphologic and molecular research on the genus during the 1990s, it was decided that the North American species are better treated in a series of other related genera. After this split there are roughly 180 species within the genus, all but one being confined to Eurasia.[1] The name Aster comes from the Ancient Greek word ἀστήρ (astér), meaning "star", referring to the shape of the flower head. Many species and a variety of hybrids and varieties are popular as garden plants because of their attractive and colourful flowers. Aster species are used as food plants by the larvae of a number of Lepidoptera species
