The Coalition for Queer Youth was launched by Alexis Handwerker of The Hear Me ROAR! Project in March 2011, Coalition for Queer Youth was created for ALL LGBTQ youth supporters to have a space to come together, share ideas, organize and use creativity to educate and effect change.

Coalition for Queer Youth is a partnership between young people, service providers, activists and allies dedicated to using creative forms of education, advocacy and empowerment to increase community support for LGBTQ young people.
