Barberton Daisies

The Barberton daisy (Gerbera jamesonii) is a member 

of the Gerbera genus. It is also known as the Transvaal daisy and as 

Barbertonse madeliefie in Afrikaans.

Inspiration: Kazaky - Crazy Law

This is the latest offering from the ever-amazing

Kazaky, also known as the boys in heels.

This video takes on the latest law implemented in Russia

against homosexuality, while portraying their

signature style and intricate dance choreography.

David Beckham: The Essence [The perfume]

This is sort of my continuation on what I explored

with before my samsung galaxy's camera broke.

The Creature has escaped!!!....

... AND this time he has transformed! 

Meet the trespasser!

This would probably go unnoticed to many, but I did alot

of contouring with make up to create a more detailed look.

I do not own any of the professional make up used in special effects

or by drag queens, but I have been studying alot of Petrilude's 

tutorials and drew inspiration from that.

I did however struggle alot with the temperatures as we 

are in summer now and struggling with somewhat of a

heat wave, causing all efforts to go up in flames. 

But I am nonetheless proud of the detail I put into my 

contouring. 

A note on The Creature: Transformed

I will be doing a continuation of The Creature to

include make up & create a detailed look. This will

also be part of a transformational process of the character

to portray the duality of photography & model. 

The Creature

When I was in the process of editing this shoot, 

I was mesmerized at how much I Sub Zero from Mortal 

Kombat & I looked alike. 

The title then created itself: The Creature

Perfumary: Progress

These are the Instagram versions of my collection up until

the injury to my Galaxy. You will also note the 'David Beckham

Instinct Sport' is a bit faded & the image isn't very sharp, 

and that is the effect the camera

gave after the injury occured...

Perfumes... (a note of sorts)

With the start of February I came up with the idea

of show-casing my love and appreciation for

perfumery, and put my collection of perfume

bottles out there, bottle by bottle. 

It worked out for the most part, but soon into the month

of Feb, my Samsung Galaxy's camera I have been using for 

Instagram and such, got injured, and I had to give up on the

idea, sort of.

I then decided it was too good of an idea to give up, and

I have decided to try photographing my bottles instead,but with

out the filters provided by Instagram ofcourse. All of the progress

from Instagram to Nikon snaps will follow shortly...

Garden Wanderland

On a seperate occasion, I got to snap these lovelies

while walking through the garden. I have come

to realise I have not done nature photography in

ages, and looking at these, I wonder ' WHY?' 

Here is Garden Wanderland:

Butterfly, Fly: The Reprise

And then I found this beauty fluttering

from flower beds to trees with little effort.

It seemed to have sensed my presence, and 

gave me enough shots to go on ;D

Walked around the garden again in what seems like a

very long time, and I found this beauty playing on 

one of the trees.
